LP Insurance Services Honored in “Best Places to Work in the Greater Reno-Tahoe Area”

Nick Rossi, President of LP Insurance Services, is pleased to announce that LP Insurance Services is one of the top 3 “Best Places to Work” in the Greater Reno-Tahoe area.  Out of 41 finalists, LP Insurance Services can credit excellent employee survey feedback for launching them to the ranks of one of the best employers in the region.  LP Insurance Services was honored in the medium employer category, 50-150 employees, at a “Best Places to Work” Awards reception Thursday, April 26, 2012 hosted by the Northern Nevada Human Resources Association (NNHRA).

The overall scores from an employee satisfaction survey determined the winners in each category. This anonymous employee survey focused on the key criteria of a satisfying work environment including: team effectiveness, trust with coworkers, manager effectiveness, feeling valued and people practices, among others. Quantum Workplace, a contracted specialist in measuring workplace satisfaction, administered the “Best Places to Work” awards program through the use of its proprietary survey methodology.

This year more than 90 companies were nominated for the “Best Places to Work” awards. The nomination process was open to all companies in the Greater Reno-Tahoe region. Nominated companies employee’s completed confidential online surveys and a diverse group of 41 employers were determined finalists based on the employee surveys.
